Dysphoric World is a multidisciplinary creative collective exploring the intersection of fashion, art, and storytelling. Through fashion design, editorial publishing, runway shows, and creative collaborations, we create work that challenges convention and celebrates self-expression.

Founded by designer and creative director Rem Ly, Dysphoric World is built on the belief that creativity is a process of constant evolution. Every project is driven by a desire to experiment and create something meaningful. From one-of-one garments and conceptual runway shows to editorial work, styling, and community collaborations, each piece contributes to a shared creative universe shaped by the people who bring it to life.

Dysphoric World is a platform for artists, designers, and creatives to create together.

Dysphoric Lab

Dysphoric Lab is the fashion design arm of our collective. Through couture craftsmanship and experimental design, it brings together fashion, storytelling, and art to create pieces that are both personal and unexpected.

Each garment reflects Rem's attention to detail and approach to design, using clothing as a way to explore identity. As a core part of the Dysphoric world, Dysphoric Labs helps shape its visual identity and creative direction, creating work that sits at the intersection of fashion and art.

Dysphoric Magazine

Dysphoric Magazine, lead by Julia Liu and Rem Ly, is a bold, experimental fashion publication dedicated to capturing the creativity of our collective and community. Through layered design and immersive photography, we amplify unconventional perspectives and transform them into impactful stories.

Each issue is a highly curated experience, blending unique editorial concepts with stylized art direction. Through layered design and immersive photography, we strive to showcase the diverse perspectives shaping our collective universe.

We are a team of 22 (including photographers, graphic designers, journalists, PAs, and stylists) with members across the country in the SF Bay Area, NYC, and LA.

Issue 1:
The Constructed Self

Available for Preorder Now

The Constructed Self explores the idea that identity is not fixed, but built and reshaped through experience, culture, emotion, and personal expression.

The self is something designed and assembled, not simply preexisting.

It reflects dysphoria as a disconnect between inner and outer identity and highlights the creative process of realigning, or "constructing," oneself.

Fashion and design act as tools for this construction, helping to define who we are and who we want to be.
